The Property Friends™ Story

“Joining with like minded friends and colleagues to mutually share the benefits of buying great investment properties together”

Uwe and Ulla Jacobs established Property Friends™ after family and friends witnessed for themselves how Uwe and Ulla had been able to successfully research and find amazing investment property deals for their own portfolio in their own time.

They found they were getting incredible results for themselves by buying new House and Land Packages. They brought in upcoming areas which resulted in built in capital gains of on average $35+k by the time the house was completed and ready to be tenanted.

Naturally everyone's curiosity got to a point where they wanted to know how they did it and whether Uwe and Ulla could find them a fantastic ‘deal‘ as well. From this point on and by word of mouth only, things just snowballed…

Uwe and Ulla began to help others. They were now finding similar deals for their friends and soon realised there was a real need for this type of service. They were able to assist and support time poor property investors to buy investment property in locations around Australia which provide high rental returns and in areas predicted for strong capital growth.

However, it was a big effort… undertaking all the necessary research, sourcing the land, negotiating with developers and builders, determining rental feasibility, frequently travelling interstate for on-site visitations, selection of house designs, specification analysis and finalisation… not to mention it being a costly exercise with all the associated overheads and countless hours involved.

Then the penny dropped…

“What if we can buy two, three, or more houses off the one developer/builder at the same time… won't this mean a better price and access to better deals for us and also any fellow investor friends who want to join us in expanding their property portfolio… and what if we manage the whole process to the contract stage on behalf of our friends so they don't even have to lift a finger?”… wouldn't that mean we all win!

It was at this point that Uwe and Ulla realised there was an opportunity here to create a wonderful and truly needed family business service that would help other investors have access to the opportunities that Uwe and Ulla were investing in themselves… all managed on their behalf.

A commitment was made and Uwe left his 20 year high pressured corporate job to join with his wife Ulla in sourcing property opportunities full time…

… and thus Property Friends™ was ‘born’ and a family business begun.
